The optimum Sealed Volume for that driver is 0. Did you get the polarity right when you hooked the leads to the woofer?

We need to find a different driver better suited to the application. Actually, way too many variables. If the new woofers are really different from the originals you might have to try more or less or different damping material. The optimum Sealed Volume for that driver is 0. The M6N doesn't look like it will make bass in any sealed enclosure, and it's probably optimal in a sealed box half that size, but still no bass.

Also, how about the ohmage of both old and new woofers?

You could try taking up the extra volume with high density foam styrofoam and see if that helps. Place of the crabapple tree - upstate NY. Not really wanting to build a new box.

It could do well in a box twice the size with a port, but that doesn't help you unless you want to build a new box.

JediAug 7, IMO, that usually sounds a bit anemic to me and I try for as much as 0. Hopefully you'll find a driver that works properly in the size and type of enclosure you're audioo to fix.

Those woofers look like they could use uadio "break in period" to loosen them up with the bass tone control turned up all the way but volume levels kept reasonable.

What's the inside dims of the enclosure? From a picture you have it looks like it. If I turn the bass up a little, it is there. Wrong tweeter for that woofer
